You will make new friends – Walking and adventuring with Terra & Tide gives you the chance to make new friends whilst connecting to nature and replenishing yourself.
You will be supported to stretch your comfort zone – Whether you are nervous about walking four hours or doing your first multi-day hike or just want a supportive space to take time out – we will support you to achieve your goals effortlessly.
You can connect with nature – A growing number of studies suggest that spending time in green spaces can rejuvenate the mental resources that man-made environments deplete. Nature grounds us, increases our wellbeing and gives us the space we need to recharge and be inspired. We love facilitating that process.
You will learn something new – Whether you are new to hiking, want to learn about the New Zealand environment, Waiheke Island and the Hauraki Gulf, or want to explore other outdoor activities and enjoy learning new things – we love helping you to have fantastic new experiences and to be curious and open learners.
We are passionate about our environment and committed to caring for it – We love our natural landscapes and our flora and fauna. We’ll demonstrate how you can contribute to local conservation efforts, either here or close to your home. Read about our Commitment to the Environment.

Terra & Tide offers guided walks on Waiheke Island for active travellers who want to be in nature and discover the best the Hauraki Gulf and the island has to offer, and for those who want to take time out, refresh and get unstuck.
