Waiheke Island is just a 35-minute ferry ride from Auckland, across the sparkling waters of the Hauraki Gulf.
From downtown Auckland, head to the ferry building which is right at the bottom of Queen St. It is within easy walking distance from most city hotels – or you can catch a cab or use public transport to take you to the Britomart Transport Centre, across the road from the ferry building.
Catch the 9am Fullers ferry from Pier Two, 99 Quay Street (see map below).
The 9am ferry arrives at Waiheke Island (Matiatia Ferry Terminal) at 9:35am.
When leaving the ferry, look for your guide who will be standing on your left just before you enter the Ferry Terminal. Your guide will be holding a Terra & Tide sign.If you are staying on Waiheke Island, we can arrange transfer to and from your island accommodation. Please contact us to organise this.
